Jollibee, a Filipino fastfood chain, serves Adobo rice anywhere BUT the Philippines... I will never forget this betrayal.

In Philippines, we don't care about the calories, we care about the size of the chicken. 😂😂😂
  • @IQzminus2
As a European hearing an American say “Here in American, we have normal portion sizes” with a straight face, just made me slowly blink in disbelief.
  • Real talk: Jollibee got their roots on wherever there are much Filipino expats and workers. Most Filipinos who flock to Jollibee in abroad were because of three reasons: The taste of Jollibee products, longing and homesickness for the Philippines, and opportunities to socialize with fellow countrymen, as traditionally, Jollibee was mostly social outing in our country, not regular fare as the West, but rare treats a family can afford sometimes. Look at the opening of a foreign branch, 80%of them lining up are Filipinos, the rest are half-foreigns or foreigners either craving for something different or curious ones. Jollibee Foods Corporation not only runs Jollibee, they also run Greenwich (pizzas and pastas), Chowking (fast Chinese food), Mang Inasal (roast chicken), Red Ribbon (cake and bakery), majority of Burger King franchises in the Philippines, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (cafe). They also run some of the known brands in abroad in countries like China, US and Canada.

Me as a Filipino looking at their portion sizes: 👁👄👁

As a Filipino every time they call the rice a side dish I die a little inside
  • Since we do now get the mango peach pie in the UK, I can confirm it lives up to the hype. S+ tier dessert.

Family sized portion spaghetti is the best😍

The editor of this series deserves a pay raise
  • Meanwhile in the Philippines: I have never seen many of these as if jollibee in other countries are more stacked with unique food ideas.
  • Here in the Philippines where Jollibee originated: 1. We have no chicken tendons 2. Chickey Joy is smaller 3. Spaghetti's sauce is too little, it don't even cover for the whole pasta and there's no way we can dunk the chicken on it because then there won't be enough sauce for the pasta 4. Lastly, no adobo rice here! A native famous dish in the Philippines. Such a shame... Disappointing
  • I’ve never had Jolibee since I don’t live anywhere near one but I wanna seek one out after hearing how amazing it is

I loved shooting this episode. Jollibee is my favorite. It’s the best fast food fried chicken. My mind cannot be changed! Also the mango peach pie is a perfect desert.

the fact that jollibees outside PH have bigger serving size and more sauces makes me sad
  • Hi I am a Filipino and I've seen this menu to be a bit weird because the menus are totally different and more Americanized than here in the Philippines. In Philippines, we also has a side called pancit palabok, which has some orange sauced noodles. We don't have any Chicken Tenders, but its so very sad to see that you guys didn't try the real signature burger of Jollibee, which is the Champ, which the Burger patty is triple the times bigger than the Yumburger with Lettuce cheese and tomato alongside with special sauce. The Peach mango pie that shown here has its other variations like the Tuna Pie and the Ube Pie, which I think varies through season. Even though the Chicken sandwich in Jollibee here was new to our menu, we love it though
  • I love how the editor added the "That's because you're American" after Joe said 3 tenders isnt enough
  • @RGDPMD
I'm deeply saddened that the peach mango pies sold here in the PH are getting smaller and smaller in portions. It used to be as big as the ones being sold in the US but now it's reduced to about half the size now. Also, where's the Jollibee gravy?!
  • Huge difference with food servings and portion size with US-UK in contrast to the Philippines. I envy you guys. Even we don't get adobo rice.
