Hosea is basically the physical definition of "Beware of the old man in a profession where men usually die young"
-
What's so damn tragic, is that every gang member that died would've sided with Arthur and John.
-
Bill: Antagonize Hosea: Draws weapon Bill: Defuse
-
I feel like Hosea is the one character who could kill someone in camp and nobody would question it, simply because of how respected he is
-
Arthur: singehandidly brings all 3 camp stats up to gold Bill: he aint doing much neither
-
“I’ve excused you quite enough” that’s a pretty badass line.
-
"Do what Hosea says!" That the same energy as the dad telling his kid. "Do what your mother says!"
-
i like the little gun twirl Hosea does at 2:08 It shows that he's not just an old man who acts like a father to people in camp, he's a trained killer that wont dodge smoke from anyone.
-
Hosea: doesn’t kill Bill John Marston: fine I’ll do it
-
I would fight by Hoseas side anyday.
-
I love how much Arthur respects Hosea. He always sticks up for him because Hosea basically raised him. So did Dutch but Arthur stopped respecting him as much in Chapter 5
-
One of the things I love about Hosea and Dutch is that they both have two pistols, but while Dutch wears his normally, Hosea wears his cavalry style which makes them easier to draw from a sitting position. It shows that he's always first to sit down and talk things through, but he's always ready in case diplomacy breaks down.

I've never seen Hosea so pissed, and frankly... it scares me.
-
He would have finished like 10 of the RDR1 missions right there if he shot him.
-
Considering this game accurately models pulling the hammer on revolvers, I'd say it's a pretty fair assumption that Hosea was never intending to shoot Bill at any point, he just wanted to show him he was serious. I like that detail, shows that even at his angriest, Hosea is really just a nice guy who doesn't want people getting in his way.
-
I love how there's no option to disagree with Hosea. Goes to show how much Arthur respects him and how right he is.
-
Hosea: Do some goddamn work! Meanwhile... Uncle: sweats profusely
-
Anyone: Has A Conversation Arthur Somewhere in the back ground: 👁 👄👁
-
What scares me more than Hosea screaming is how quick he was on that draw... and the way he spun it back into his holster. At the time of the story we see him as a wise, gentle man who provides sage advice to the group and reads a lot. We only hear stories of his exploits... but damn its something to see.

"I'VE EXCUSED YOU QUITE ENOUGH" & that pistol flip at 2:13 God I love Hosea Miss him terribly
