Hearing this stripped back acoustic version really makes you appreciate the writing even more.

I did not realize how sensual this song is until now. Wow.

I love the intentional breaks in her voice. It's a really beautiful way to portray emotion.

Never realized how sad the lyrics were until I heard this. Absolutely beautiful, in despair.

Her timbre is uniquely suited to the dance idiom. She's got a great sense of rhythm. Almost like a sexy and chilled out Bill Withers-esque control of phrasing.

You know the lyrics are brilliant when every cover gives it a different meaning ☺️☺️

Being a big fan of Arctic Monkeys. I love this version. She owns it. The lyrics resonate really well with just the piano and her voice.

I love Arctic monkeys version, but when I heard Dua sing the chorus I cried. It sounds so good in a feminine voice, it’s so much softer with the piano instead of a band behind the words.
