I like the concept of turning Krypton into conquers who have bitten off more than they could chew in picking a fight with Darkseid. I wonder how he's going to look.

I like that Jor-El considers his people's fall to be completely well-deserved

I like the idea that the Kryptonians were a technologically advanced, conquering race who made the terrible mistake of challenging Darkseid and were driven to near extinction because of it. Makes a lot more sense than going extinct because you ignored the signs your planet was going to explode despite being a species capable of interstellar travel...

I'm glad to see Jor-El finally be able to explain some things to his son. It's such a shame that Krypton had a race of conquerors in this continuity, but at least it's something different while being true to how kryptonians always bring about their own destruction. This time, they went to war with an enemy they couldn't beat. It's hinted that the enemy was Darkseid. If that's the case, the kryptonians were never going to beat him under a red sun, even with Brainiac's technology. Now Clark knows that he and Kara are the last kryptonians. Apparently, this time around, Clark and Kara seem to be around the same age instead of Kara being the elder cousin. Of course, Amanda Waller is causing trouble in her misguided attempt to destroy Superman, who is a hero.

I feel bad for Jor. He lost so much time with his son and this imprint is all that’s left of him and only has limited time to tell his son what he knows. Also I TOTALLY didn’t pick up on the Omega Beams at 1:24 XD It does make sense a Kryptonian Empire would encounter Darkseid since Apokalypse would be a major power

Ok judging by what he tells and what we see, the Kryptonians were always an advanced civilization under an expansionist and conquering space empire, at the same time it's refreshing, compared to stories where the Kryptonians isolated themselves, but at the same time, it looks like they erased the very aesthetic and pure side of the Kryptonians, I'm talking about the architecture and outfits, it looks like they were all soldiers, maybe we will see other part of the kryptonian civilization

So in this reality, Zod's factions were dominant over the Science Counsel. Zod's existence always did show there was a militant potential to Krypton, but in most cases the more pacifist nature was in control.

There’s something Emotional and Wholesome about Clark learning more about Krypton and that’s he’s not just the only one but there’s Hope that makes him Human.
