Great vid dude! Translating Kamala speak into normal human English. Love your jacket bro, my Dad was a Marine, I wanted to be but they wouldn't take me in the Mid 1980s, bad eyesight and asthma. After growing up in rural Louisiana, did well in school and went to MIT and Univ of Texas Austin then Med school in Shreveport Louisiana. Went to Los Angeles for Family Medicine Residency (maybe I had watched too much Baywatch, grim lol). Met my wife in Residency, another FM MD, boat Person from Vietnam and we moved to Silicon Valley in 1999 since she had Family there. Made a life in Silicon Valley, now retired. Worked for a large Medical Group and adapted. Became a good Doc. The last 4 years have been, politically for the US the worst in my entire life, born 1966. Utter insanity with the 2020 elections, putting the so called "progressives" in total power. I've seen SF go from a wacky leftist city but still good to visit, turn into a Septic Tank. The Mono party state of California is a disaster. Beautiful land, but insane politics. And I've seen bad politicians on both sides, a lot in my home state. I was raised in Rural Louisiana and so called "racism" (I don't even use the word Race as it is a made up word with no biological reality, we are one race the Human Race) was still there but my Dad taught me better. The woman who really raised him was an African American nanny/housekeeper, Emily, who he loved dearly. She helped raise me and my sibs. She lived about 100-200 yards from my house. My Dad had a wood house moved for her to live in, I remember them moving it, so she could have a decent house, rather than the rundown shack she had lived in for years. When I was really young I would sleep over at her house and she would feed me Grape Nuts cereal with lots of sugar and Lost Bread, aka french toast. She took me to an African American small Church on Sunday, I was the only European face in the congregation and they were so kind to me. I'll never forget that. My Dad died at her funeral and could barely speak, the first time I had ever seen him like that. He made sure I did not buy into the remnants of racism in the South.
