I would love a different version of this of "ELIMINATION H&S" where rather than it being "stop at 20;00", it's instead based on seeker time. When you reach seeker time of 8 minutes, your placement in cemented. Meaning if you hit 8 minutes first, you are 3rd place. You still have to hide and play the game even if you already lost. The player who never hits seeker time of 8 minutes (or 6 minutes depending on how long it takes) is the winner. "Hide and Seek Battle Royale" just makes for a good video title as well, ngl.

Personally, I prefer the old, slower paced version of hide-and-seek. To me, the greatest entertainment is seeing just how long a good spot will last and that’s ruined by having to move.

To balance the game you should start the individual timer after the first hit, as the first player is disadvantaged regarding the difficulty of the map.
