I was born and raised in Ukraine. Ukrainians and Russians are one people. Since the 10th century there has been a single state. We speak the same language, have a common cuisine and culture, everyone has no less relatives in Russia than in Ukraine. And the civil war between Ukrainians and Russians has already happened more than once, starting from the 16th century. Only in the past it was provoked by the Poles, Turks, Austrians and Germans. And everything always ended in fitting.

Борщ это чисто русское блюдо , изначально его готовили из травы борщевик, сейчас есть еще одна трава под таким названием она ядовита но из той которой готовили была съедобна . Со временем через много веков это блюдо стала таким как сейчас. Само название русское!!!! Я повар национальной и зарубежной кухни! Кстати родилась на Украине)))))))

I don’t know about everyone else - but I thought it was refreshing to see that Ukrainian people in Russia are able to be themselves, celebrate their culture etc … there almost appears to be no animosity between Ukrainians and Russians! Very different to what’s playing out with Zelensky and his Azov white supremacy battalion and Russian army! All fuelled by western ideology and the desire to antagonise Russia and reduce its sphere of influence. The war was totally avoidable! Anyways great videos! I’m a new subscriber! Question: are you posting these videos In retrospect? Are you still in Russia?

Ukrainians are an ethnic minority not just in Russia, but also across the former Soviet republics - from Belarus and Moldova to the west, the Baltics of the northwest, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan on the southwest and across Central Asia. Not every Ukrainians living there have sort of affinity towards Ukraine

I've eaten at that restaurant several times. It's very good and I always go at least once when I'm in Moscow.

Все славянские нации считают борщ своим и рецепт русского немного отличается от украинского, я его люблю готовить с говядиной, а украинцы со свининой, еще у них подают белые пампушки (хлебные булочки) с чесноком, а я люблю на черном хлебе горчицу или хрен. Все вкусы разные и сочетаются отлично. а под водочку вообще красота.

There is a famous Russian poet Derzhavin, the poet of the Russian Empress Catherine II, who wrote a poem in 1795 called "Invitation to the Table", which mentions borscht. Ukraine did not exist at that time, it was created by Lenin and his associates after the revolution of 1917.
