Hayden Christensen began his career as an actor at just 13 years of age. He started appearing on various Canadian TV shows before making the leap to American TV in the late '90s. He started gaining attention for his performance in the 2001 drama film Life as a House.

This led to the career-changing role as Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader, in the Star Wars prequel trilogy films -- Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

However, since his starring role as Darth Vader, Christensen’s career began to wane and we haven’t seen much of him lately. Here’s why Hollywood won’t cast him anymore.

Using Rotten Tomatoes as a reliable source is like using Wikipedia to write an essay. Just don't do it. Hayden was incredible as Anakin; he portrayed all the internal battles the character suffered and made me sympathize with his downfall. Truly a tragic hero.

I think most people didn't understand something: Hayden Christensen was SUPPOSED to play Anakin an awkward way. He was basically a monk who lived in strict celibacy for 10 years and now feels love for the first time in his live. Of course he's awkward.

My guy just wants to chill out on his cutesy farm in Canada with his daughter. He’s not involved in drama, drugs, alcohol, scandals, etc. and honestly? That’s amazing and I’m happy for him.

I love the prequels. I love Hayden as Anakin. I love Natalie as Padme. I love the romance between them. I love that that's why he became Vader. I'm sick of people hating on the prequels when most of them are just jumping on the bandwagon.

He was a perfect anakin. Idk why people don’t give him any praise or love for his acting. He portrayed a rather conflicted and overlooked kid for his whole life. And then suddenly given so much pressure.. idk I just feel like he was a good portrayal of anakin
