  • Really a good video. Thanks a lot, I was struggling to find an easy tutorial.
  • Very good detailed video. I would think that my 93 would have the same standard Saab wiring. I would have liked to see the new unit working. Good stuff.
  • @Codric
Man you made this look easy! The previous owner didnt get the steering wheel controls to work on the aftermarket JVC. Hopefully they just didnt connect it from the SID

Great video and seriously thinking off getting the CC2+ do you have a video for the Teyes unit and a saab 93 ( like I have) Also do you fit them Stuart?
  • @okar2k
Hey man, thanks for reviving a good product. I came across your video long time ago and now I purchased my Teyes unit for my 9-5 Vector 2005. In your Saab you have old CD player 2DIN but I had SAT nav unit and there is different 3x harnesses, as I bought Teyes witn an ISO harness by your guidance I would like to ask Your help now. Any chance to contact You directly? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

AWesome video! Thanks a lot. would this also be possible on a 2003 9-5 with a factory installed kenwood svt-m700 duble din with navigation and replace it with a pioneer sph-da250dab ?
  • Great video! I have a 2001 Saab 95 SE auto estate on which I'd like to replace the head unit, but with an android unit which will play CD's, too. I'm old hat, I know. Could you please help me out by picking a unit which will fit as snug as a bug, I hope? A mid price unit would be fine. Also, if you have experience with the latter fitment can you please list the other components I will or may need? This is my first time attempting anything like a head unit switch; my apologies for being a pain. Thanks.

@Saab Unleashed Thanks for the great tutorial. I have ordered the head unit and the ISO harness from the provided links under the review of the CC2+. I have a 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero Estate with the Premium (AS2) sound system with navigation. Can you please tell me what harness do I need in order to install the head unit and use it with the stock setup. Thanks
  • @lachywocky
Hey! just found your channel, lots of good stuff. The Saab Harmon Kardon am has balanced inputs. have you not found this to be an issue when connecting single ended outputs from these head units? level or noise issues?
  • @ponchcrew1076
I have the AS2 unit in my 04 9-5 and I have just purchased a used Sony unit with car play. This looks straight forward but I’m seeing conflicting info on forums? Should my Sony unit install like you’ve done it? Is there any specific harness I need to buy? Cheers
  • I want your advise here. I have a 2007 Saab 93 and bought the CC2 plus and an Axxess SWC-1 CANbus decoder. The Canbus decoder cannot detect my car. Tech support is telling me to tap the volume up key at a heart beat tempo but it doesn't work. I have the GM LAN1 (green wire) soldered to the pink wire on their decoder. Ground is on chassis. Key1 and 2 from Teyes goes a 3.5mm plug on the decoder. Have you any hint on what could be wrong? Thanks!
  • @ZaabS14
Hi, wich harness for 9-5 2008, with HK amplifier? Thanks
  • @pete9945
Hey, nice video! Does the steering wheel buttons work with this head unit?
  • Do you know where can I found the Bezel with shipping to Spain?. Ebay site in the link is out of stock and no date for re-stock. Searching another sites I only find "only UK delivery" . Thanks!
  • @gunnarliljas8459
    1. Ever considered moving the SID below the head unit? Would make for a better viewing angle. 2. Any HU that could respond (and do the right thing) to Night/Black Panel input? After all, it should just be a CAN BUS message.
