RAW Hurricane BERYL Smashes into Playa Del Carmen, Mexico 7/5/2024

Intercepted Hurricane BERYL as it smashed onshore as a Category 2 Hurricane into the Mexico coastline. While, it was on a weakening trend, it still packed a punch and was my first international Hurricane intercept that I learned a lot from this trip. Heading back to Houston today for a double intercept of this storm!

And I was born in the rain on the Pontchartrain Underneath the Louisiana moon I don't mind the strain of a hurricane, it comes around every June The high black water, the devil's daughter She's hard, and she's cold, and she's mean But nobody taught her it takes a lot of water to wash away New Orleans
