The guy narrating the story is Roy Rogers, AKA "King of the Cowboys". He was a singer/songwriter and actor alongside his wife Dale Evans. He was also a christian. He died in 1998, a year before I was born. I grew up watching some of his movies with my family. My favorite song from him and Dale is "Happy Trails". The palomino he is always seen riding was Trigger and he even had a German Shepherd Dog named Bullet.
