It’s now official. A coroner has ruled that missing Sydney con woman Melissa Caddick is dead, although precisely how, where and when she died remains a mystery. What also remains is the misery of those who were duped out of millions of dollars of their savings by Caddick’s simple scam. She claimed to be a financial whizz, promising huge returns to investors. Instead, she spent their money on herself, purchasing designer dresses, custom-made jewellery and lavish overseas holidays.

Tom Steinfort has been reporting on the Caddick case for more than two years and this Sunday on 60 MINUTES reveals new vision he has obtained showing Melissa, her husband Anthony Koletti and her brother Adam Grimley on a night out before her disappearance. Steinfort’s latest investigation has also uncovered information which could provide a long-awaited glimmer of hope for Caddick’s many victims.

I am so loving 60 Minutes Australia having comments open on some videos now.

Well hearing that her parents think they deserve 95% of their money back but not anyone else gives us a good idea about why Melissa was so selfish and didn't give a stuff about anyone else!
  • Her brother and her husband know more than they are telling. Her parents definitely raised a child in their own image.
  • My family was a victim of a con like her. They are bad people who literally stole other people’s money.
  • She’s probably still alive. A foot found on the beach? That’s not enough to say she’s dead. She’s a CON ARTIST.
  • @shoutatthesky
She's not dead. She's out there somewhere minus a foot.

They always look so normal and even motherly. I remember when I was in Uni we had a law class assignment that required us to go down to the courts. I sat in on one case of embezzlement by a company controller. She looked so nice and at that moment it solidified that saying " don't judge a book by it's cover" I also don't respect any one just because they are wealthy. You have to earn my respect. Even thieves can be wealthy through thievery.

No wonder her parents made such a evil woman. They are evil themselves.
  • @_Woo
She definitely learned her morals from her parents
  • @TakenTook
The parents should also get only 40-45% back of the money they paid, just like the rest of the investors. It's very sad for them because it was their own daughter who ripped them off, but they may have benefited from her scam in other ways while it was still going on.
  • I do not understand why anyone would put a million dollars down on a penthouse to have someone else's name on the property.
  • @hammadmangat248
Both the parents and her fraud husband should be held accountable for the actions of this woman and they should also be held liable to pay back the hard earned money of the people who blindly trusted her

I wouldn't be surprised if she was still Alive, living a nice life somewhere with an Artificial Foot and maybe a Brand New Face. What makes me say that, she's a Con Woman and only One foot was ever found. 🤔

The partner needs investigating properly, he's definitely more involved in all these crimes for sure .
  • Whether she's alive or dead; her husband helped her or he knows where she is. It took him 30 hours to report her missing, his story keeps changing, she was never picked up on the CCTV, he enjoyed spending the money as much as she did. . . . I might be wrong, but something just isn't sitting right with him
