Other issues that the campus tour person may avoid discussing and need to ask about: Crime on campus, in dorms, academic and other facilities, fraternities/sororities, the adjacent community as well as how crimes are handled on campus by the college's or local police and prosecutors. Related to above is security of dorms and campus buildings from trespassers and sadly, if plans if a mass shooting attack is happens on campus. Commuting students may have there own set of questions, especially as to parking, mass transit access. How does the college deal with conflicts with roommates in dorms. For example, if your roommate is too frequently keeping you out of the room so can have privacy with their partner. How does the administration deal with harassment or offensive behaviors by fellow students, professors, other staff.

I went to a big state school for my undergrad, completely paid for my scholarships. And the facilities were state-of-the-art. Olympic sized swimming pool indoor and out, Michael Phelps actually started coaching there. On Wednesdays we had actual street tacos at the dining halls, and tons of vegan options. Now for grad school I’m at a fancy shmancy East Coast art school, and oh my god everything is so old and class registration is a horrific nightmare. It has taken them this long to finally figure out how to register us, and they’ve been around for 200+ years. It’s crazy the difference, and tuition is $50k+ a year!

Dude, that mental health one is real. I need therapy as soon as I can go to college (my parents won't let me get it right now) and I asked multiple people at the college I'm going to and it seems like their mental health support is crap. I even had literally like the head of mental health support sass me on a microphone in front of about 200 other kids to tell me that their mental health support was so good that counselors would "suggest the best places to go for therapy that were nearby" aka they were kicking you out cuz they don't want to deal with it. Why am I going there? Well, my whole family expects me to and they're paying for it. So it'll be fine. I can probably pay for therapy.

Nah at my college the food is nationally ranked they’d probably get yelled at if they didn’t mention it at least six times per tour
