I think my favourite aspect of these videos is that there's a certain point while I'm watching where I think "right, this is as far as this idea can go, great show" and then I look at the video length to see that it's not even halfway done, and the mechanisms continue to get more complex and frankly ridiculous. Top shelf stuff. Keep it up!

There's also the infamous 5th wheel one. Somewhere in the 1900's someone made a car where the spare wheel on the rear was also used to park. It was connected to the "prop shaft" via a gear which was activated by lowering (and therefore raising the whole rear of the car off the ground) and meshing the gears. It then gave the ability to rotate the whole car into the spot after it was driven into it with just the nose. Ludicrous, but amusing.
  • I like the shrinking chasis one and the idea that you have to sacrifice your passengers lives to be able to find a parking spot
  • The 90 degree steering was crazy enough but the expanding chassis modification looks like something out of transformers lol Awesome builds :)
  • The beauty of machinery is fully expressed by this Lego car.
  • 3:16: "Well, you got the car into a spot with zero clearance. That's it, there's nowhere to go from here. Surely you cannot fit a car into a spot smaller than the car, that's not how geometry works!" 3:55: "Oh."

I built a car like this in Besiege once, except for the extending midsection I'll have to try that out now, but seeing it made out of Lego is SO COOL!

Finding a good parking spot for lego cars is almost impossible these days, so this is most helpful 👍

3:07 wow that's amazing. Then realized there's another min plus of video, thinking how crazy can this get. Yup it got crazier, mind blown.

Your concepts are so cool, the design and mechanism are really impressive. The beauty of machinery is fully expressed by this Lego car..

WOW. Would be awesome to see all your Independent vehicle technologie topics combined into one. A 6x6 Truck with manual transmission, low range, clutch and diffs, pulling a steered trailer through rough terrain, showing the benifits of its nifty suspension....😍

Good job on the crab walk. It’s pretty cool how we can do that in lego

I miss playing with Technic Legos. The sets from the 80s and 90s were incredibly fun.
