Sony a6500 mic issue with Play Memories

What happens when you're recording with a6500 using Play Memories? Your mic settings aren't respected and your audio levels WILL peak! See video for demonstration

I'm having the same problem using another remote viewer. I thought my mic was broken. This is not good at all.

Hello! I actually have the same problem with my Sony a6500 and rode videomic. Have you found a fix to this problem?
