Hunting & Eating Traditional Food With A Hand Spear

In this episode I hunt and cook something a bit different. Stingray is a delicacy in many parts of the world and our indigenous Australians have been hunting them for thousands of years. I wanted to give it a go for myself. During the adventure I discover a sick turtle that cant dive below the surface, so local authorities were called in for a rescue.
Hope you enjoy this one!

Always a great adventure with you, Nick! I love how you continue to rescue the turtles when many guys would just pass them by! The compassion you show for them cannot be faked! You have such a great life, Nick...pls continue sharing it with us! 🐢
  • Good work mate. For me, growing up in a coastal community here in W.A., we didn't have KFC, McDonald, Hungry Jacks to fall back to. All we had was the ocean and land, I would learn how to use a spear and rifle at a very young age hunting stingrays, mud crab, fish, turtle, kangaroos, bush turkey, goanna and so on but only when it was seasonal to eat. And mostly how to prep and cook what we caught on that day and how to cook it in the traditional way, straight on hot coals or under dependenting on what animal it is. This is the food I crave ❤ good on you for having a go mate.
