With ability capsules, mints and now this I am so thankful that making a competitive team is so much easier
  • I love how this lets us use the Pokémon we catch for competitive so we don’t have to breed for hours
  • Now I can take pokemon I emotionally bonded with into the late game.
  • This is so exciting to me as someone who's followed competitive Pokémon for years now but never bothered to try my hand at it specifically because the idea of having to breed for specific IVs put up such a huge barrier for me.
  • Thanks for a super easy and straightforward explanation. Great work!

First time competitive player, absolutely love this guide 💕 Thank you!

    Thanks man, easy and straightforward
  • As a player who got into competitive battling because my buddy beat me relentlessly with generated perfect pokemons. I totally used my knowledge to IV train, before beating the elite four and all the gyms.

This is really helpful. I’m trying to get an Iron Hands ready for high tier raids, already got it EV trained but still needed Hyper Training

Thanks for the tip i've been struggling on making my pokemon on my team get stronger especially with attacks
  • I'm glad that there is an option that more or less skips breeding. Especially as someone who does not have much time on their hands but likes to do 6* Raids. I guess it makes sense since the game more or less forces you to have perfect IV/EVs for Raids.
  • I'm definitely glad they made this more accessible to players. I wanted to play competitively, but I don't have the time to breed pokemon all day.
  • thx for the info, been looking for this. I'm subbing and saving this. My Moewscarada will finally 1 shot almost all mons.

So does using a bottle cap make it the max ev that species of pokemon can go, or just that specific pokemon? And can you do that with all the stats on one pokemon?
