I made a google ads campaign for my Mobile Game and then sent the Game to a publisher. How that ended? Find out in this video.

When I just released my second Mobile Game "Bee a Miner", it was not very successful, because of the quarantine. That is why I've decided to try and promote it once again. I even sent it to a publisher and got a reply from them. In this video I will share the result and some things I've learned from this campaign.

Thanks for sharing. I've build apps in the past and working on a game now. (Actually I live in the same country as you) Marketing is hard and I also am not great with it. But I might be able to give some tips. The cpm seems pretty good. So try not to think abou getting your investment back directly, but over a longer time, multiple months. Try to increase the retention. I've tried the game. It was too hard to fast. I could not get the controls right before dieing. People will uninstall the app if that happens. Try to make the game slower in the beginning and make the controls better. Give the player the time to get to know the game before it gets hard. Show more ads. Now the ads are always optional. Show an ad every couple of games. Don't over do it. If you want you can let users buy a ad free option as well.

  • Great video… well I have marketed few games before And to be frank with you you don’t get your profit back in just 7days But after a month I got twice the money I spent… which is like investing $25 for 7days and getting $50 after 30days lol so it’s not like it’s some big money I got I haven’t ran ads for a while not until yesterday and I have been constantly making $1 to $3 each day on ads for the past 3months and it gets as high as $8 a day sometimes not bad I guess but… the actual fact is that it was terrible at 1st then got better with time and yeah you should try developing for apple as I have paid games which on google from time to time I get purchases maybe 1 today and then another in like two weeks time lol very bad on google play but right on apple store almost everyday I make like $3 to $8 which isn’t bad… even if you make a little game and put a price on it the will buy it on there better than google play

Hi bro you do good job but you have to focus on trending games and keywords to create your new game and don´t create from your own ideas, you will see big results.

The files got corrupted? Why not use version control? The marketing info was very helpful, I appreciate you sharing your process. The art quality on the bee game is a bit rough. I think art quality is the first thing that will turn away or attract users, in the future you might want to focus on more simplistic, flat, low poly type art if its not time efficient to get really polished textures. I'm surprised the bee game has a long loading? I cannot imagine what feature would be worth waiting many seconds? I would guess it has something to do with google play, but whatever it is you dont want to hold the player up. I never got past the loading screen so I just gave up.
