I'm 53 years old and have lived through generations of music and have been to countless concerts over the last 40 years . Last Summer I was privileged enough to see Shinedown at Pine Knob Michigan , I went into the show with high expectation after hearing so much about how good the band was live . And my expectations for shattered they're quite possibly the best damn live show I've ever seen in my life ! Don't think I've ever heard a band so in tune with each other that played with every ounce of energy that they had as if it was their first and last show , and Brent Smith well you know . During the show I went through every range of emotion imaginable and felt the after effects for weeks afterwards . Can't wait until the next time and I hope there are many many more 🤘😁🤘

“I created the sound of madness, wrote the book on pain, somehow I’m still here to explain” this line hits hard and is somethin else
  • I grew up with Shinedown, ACDC, Godsmack, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, etc. So this is my kind of music (I'm only 14).

This is one of the best modern rock songs. That riff is so simple but infectious.

I love my dad for teaching me to appreciate all music, I have a healthy respect for anything from the early 1900’s to jazz to country to pop to just those random weird songs that we all know but rarely share. And of course a very strong respect for metal, shinedown is by far one of the greatest of all time, so when I’m the mood for metal this is one of the first bands I always turn to
  • My X introduced me to this band about 13 yrs. ago I'm still rockin' thier music 2day.. ✌️😉 Thanks Brandy H. for the memories..

I love cranking this as loud as possible in my vehicle

Just watched the latest Shinedown behind the scenes, watched Brent Smith warm up his vocals and before he hits the stage he recites the first verse of this badass song.

Anyone listening to shinedown in 2019!? 👌

I have this as my ringtone and one time my phone went off in practice. Luckily my coach is a rocker/metalhead so it was cool.
  • I confess that this song by Shinedown has some harsh sounding elements to it, however the fantastic singing coupled with the bold rock music and lyrics sometimes help metaphorically shake me into a more emotionally tougher and more motivated mood when I hear it for some reason.
  • Still jamming to this album, Amaryllis, Threat to Survival, and ATTENTION ATTENTION in 2020. Shinedown will never die. I grew up on Shinedown. Thanks to my parents for showing me what real music is.
