Important note for viewers: the 3d models shown are not accurate in their size relative to each other. Some are depicted too small, some too big.

Cologne Cathedral is the most epic church I've seen. it took 600 years to build it and we are the generation that is blessed to witness it's full beauty!

The names are very difficult to read, they should have been in front of the models, not hidden behind them. Also some longer names result in tiny font, which is not good at all.

You forgot the Cathedral of Sevilla, the second biggest of the world and the biggest gothic temple in the planet

Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia ,Bulgaria could hold 5000 ppl inside and I don’t see it here .

I don't think capacity is the most appropriate measure to determine which church is bigger, I think extension is more appropriate. In any case, as far as Spanish churches are concerned, many are missing from the list, such as the Cathedral of Seville or the Cathedral of Burgos.

I visited Rome with my mother a few years ago. The whole city oozes culture. I have never ever been so awestruck by a building like the St. Peter's. The sheer size, the grandeur, the fresco's, the holy icons, the incredibly detailed wall/ceiling paintings which are everywhere, the ancient graves, the art, armour and jewellery collections worth billions. Every part was beyond amazing. Advice: get up early to visit, if you don't you'll be waiting in a LONG queue at the central square in the scorching sun.

I'm from Montreal, and I can see the Oratory up on the mountain from my apartment. It is absolutely colossal up close. Hard to imagine that there are bigger churches in the world.

There should be Świątynia Opatrzności Bożej on this list as well. It is the highest sacral building in Warsaw, Poland (75m) and it got a capacity of 4000 seats. It's dome is absolutely massive and was made out of 30 tons of copper.

Been to several of these. That feeling of looking up the moment you walk in the door never gets old
