The fact that Katakuri only got hit 1/4 of the time while Luffy got floored the entire fight. Luffy's DURABILITY is insane

This is maybe one of the best fights in the whole show. Luffy is objectively not as strong as katakuri, and in terms of actual fighting ability he loses this fight, but its who luffy is that lets him walk away, he turns everything katakuri believes on its head and allows him to feel free in a way he doesn't normally. katakuri gets to be himself, to enjoy the fight, and by the end of it he respects luffy and essentially allows him to walk away. This fight encapsulates everythign good about this show and spits in the face of everything you'd expect from a stereotypical battle manga

Honestly this fight was amazing, it gives me chills how katakuri and luffy have mutual respect for each other. Not only that but luffy didn’t have any emotion based powerup in this fight so that just goes to show that this was a proper 1v1

I love Katakuri but if they were to have a rematch now, it would be a mid dif fight for Luffy. Though Katakuri would still prove annoyingly difficult to grab with his superior future sight.
