  • He’s got work stress, relationship stress, parents on his back to get a full time job. Sounds just like the rest of us! You’re an inspiration!

What a great guy. Clearly, he is quite intelligent and hard working. And, I agree that he is an inspiration to families with children of special needs who come into the hospital. Good for everyone that this man has a decent job.
  • “Do you like the paperwork?” “Not really, but it needs to be done.” The way he takes the less pleasurable parts of his job in stride is honestly enviable. Here’s hoping he’s still doing good out there.

This dude is so much further in his life than I am, and I don't even have a disability.

I needed a feel good story today, and this did the trick.... Nathan, you are AMAZING!!!!
  • Not gonna lie, I was expecting him to only be a "morale" employee, there to escort patients inside and make their day easier because of his personality, you know, the usual things you'd expect from a Down's syndrome person. But no, they have him doing some of the business/office/paperwork part of the job too. That's awesome!

This just goes to show that people with any disability whether it be a physical disability like myself or an intellectual disability are valuable assets in any job. I've worked with people with downs syndrome and let me tell you they always no matter what have positive attitudes day in and day out

Good. I love to see people with disabilities doing such great work and being acknowledged for their character and ability, not defined by their situation.
  • You are my inspiration!! I have an older brother who my parents adopted even though he had fetal alcohol syndrome. My parents have done everything they can for all 9 of us but he still struggles. Now that were all grown he's still trying find his way and this story will lift his spirits, and my entire family. Your awesome so thank you ❤💙💛💚💜🖤

This proves disabled people are capable for doing their jobs than people without disabilities.
