Good news everyone. We've added captions! Of course you'll need to read them in a heavy French accent to get the proper feel for them.
  • @YesItsKevin
his accent is more french than the race itself

Much of the pleasure comes from the spectacular views of the countryside. No other sport is held in such an ever changing arena.

This is a terrific clip: interesting, funny and clear for anyone like me who has refused to pay attention to this July obsession in France for 43 years. Now, I "get" it! Superb animation and the French accent is just too wonderful.  Thank you!  Very creative.

I've got nerves of Carbon, not steel. Steels are heavy.

"it is the image of the peloton, moving through the picturesque french country side and mountainous regions that makes the Tour de France one of the most beautiful sporting spectacles in the world" - this was the primary reason why I started cycling and why I enjoy watching Le Tour de France, well said narrator...

As an American just getting into road cycling for fitness, this was superb! Thank you so much for this introduction to one of the world's great sporting events!!

Road Cycling along with professional psychological help cured me from a very severe depression. My health and fitness dramatically improved, not to mention my professional achievements and personal sense of worth, even my face and my body shape drastically changed and I improved my social interactions and feeling of bellonging because I found what I can call a second family: group of cyclist whose biggest principle is help your team mates at all costs. Cycling is such a beautiful sport

I've been riding/racing for 45 years and this was a delight to watch. So well done and so easy to understand. Awesome! Thanks!

Tour de France, PBP, Le Mans 24 hrs, Monaco GP(Kind of France), why are all these iconic races held in France? They sure know how to race and cook

Thank you! Very educational. We had a mock Tour in our school last year. It was a success! I made a Maillot Jaune, Vert, et Blanc. Thank you for this very informative video.
  • Made me watched the whole 10:20 mins without moving a muscle... guess I really wanna know what is The tour de France

I've been a road cyclist for almost a decade now. I know a lot about racing and follow professional races every year. However, I still come back to this video once in a while, I really don't know why. I simply find it relaxing and it reminds me of the beauty of beginning to follow a sport as life changing as cycling. To those who are watching this video for the first time and are entering the world of cycling, good luck in your journey!

That's the most thorough and easy to understand video about the Tour, the strategies and cycling overall I 've ever seen.
