Every Time Anxiety Did Something Horribly BadTo Riley In Inside Out 2!

From the first promotional material for Inside Out 2, fans of the franchise were introduced to Riley’s new emotions, especially the surprising personification of Anxiety. It’s not uncommon for young teenagers and adults to experience a spike in general and social anxiety, especially as they experience changes involving puberty, changing schools, and making new friends. Anxiety becomes the primary antagonist in the film, negatively influencing Riley’s decisions and forcing her to abandon her morals to try and manipulate how her future in high school may end. In today’s video, we’ll recount some of Anxiety’s worst actions throughout the film.

  • Even though anxiety was the villain, she definitely meant well. Shes like a more extreme version of joy in the first movie where she would try to control everything herself, while pushing other emotions out of the way.
  • as someone with social anxiety, seeing anxiety do this to riley makes me incredibly scared to watch the scenes where she even touched the console
  • Everyone gives their opinion, but according to me, Anxiety was a bit scary for me every time she touched the console doing something negative to Riley (physically, mentally and socially), because for me suffering from it is horrible, plus see her doing that to Riley touched my heart every time
  • I think the end of it is to use anxiety as a positive emotion and not as a negative and using it carefully to become sparked in situations that require us to think ahead.
  • I’m honestly surprised at how accurately they portrayed anxiety, especially with the whole panic attack scene. ❤ If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that Anxiety was a more intense version of Joy if she continued to be controlling. 😅

The fact im so damn anxious that i actually thought Anxiety's worry was legit 😅 And then i almost broke down crying at the panic attack scene
  • When Riley gets a boyfriend, she will have more scary emotions.
  • @hotbucket
anxiety had riley cooking in hockey tho
  • I loved this movie. I've had panic attacks that have left me locked in my closet. And I really appreciated the balance of anxiety at the end.
  • I genuinely felt shocked during the scene when Anxiety toke Riley's Sense of Self and sends it to the back of her mind since I've genuinely come to grow up learning that you should never sacrifice your authentic sense of self in the pursuit of trying to fit yourself into places and crowds you will never truly fit into.
  • Honestly, this movie sort of taught me how to deal with my severe anxiety in better ways
  • The anxiety attack can affect people with no sense of control of a disability of an imbalance of the brain socially

MY OPINION: Anxiety isnt the villian, yeah, i know she had done HORRIBLE things to Riley, but all she wanted to do is to make Riley the best, she wanted Riley to succed, obviously the way she was trying was wrong but, she acctualy was suffering beacuse her plan didnt work, if you see in Riley's anxiety attack, anxiety was crying, maybe Riley wasnt the only one suffering, matbe anxiety was to overwelmed searching for a solution, and she acctualy feels guilty after doing that, even tought she didnt meant to damage Riley, i feel like Anxiety just needed to know that even if she was trying to help, she was hurting Riley and herself too, beacuse, people need to know that in this movie, nobody is a villian, beacuse they try to be helpfull, even if they arent realising they are doing something wrong
  • Bree and Grace going to a different school thsn Rliey will make them be on the opposite team as Riley and one day they’ll have to play against each other so the camp kind of prepped them for that .
