The fact this is by the hour really shows the Blitz side of the Krieg.

Just realized how unfavorable our defence lines were. The Germans could strike from three directions. Also, I didn't know they went that far in the south.

Westerplatte had to defend for 12 hours... they fought for week even germans after polish soldiers surrendered gave them respect for heroic defend (i mean on westerplatte)

You need a wider map showing the UK and France honoring their pledge to Poland declaring war on Germany and the British and French Armies standing idly by on Germany’s almost undefended western border doing nothing watching the Polish army and people of Poland get axed.

Practically on September 10, most of the divisions were encircled, but they fought to the end

You forgot about showing Slovak troops invading Poland from the south and conquering a small piece of land. Here they are shown as German troops. Around 50.000 Slovak soldiers participated in the invasion.

Your animated war map is awesome. Could you possibly do a tutorial for how you animate the layers in After Effects? Are you using shapes or masks to animate the invasion and the encirclements? To make the layers move so fluidly, did you have to add many anchor points? Thanks again for sharing and I hope your channel gets many more views.
