The theme of this album is relaxing jazzy tuba music because during stressful times, we need to sit down and simply enjoy music. We also want to bring an awareness to the beautiful sound that euphoniums and tubas can create!
The title of the album is taken from the first song on the album--“Midnight Euphonium” by G. Richards, arr. Natalie Colegrove. I fell in love with the jazzy and relaxed style of this piece and was inspired to create an album around this theme. While listening to the song, I felt like I was outside on the porch on a summer afternoon, sipping ice-cold lemonade.
