Somehow the intro gag for "Line Lessons with Lady Redundant Woman" just...got dropped during rendering? And I didn't notice? Uuuuuuhhhhhhh if you can guess what the gag was supposed to be you get 40 Paraster Points or whatever

Forget 6-8 hour long ranking videos, when this series is finished in 2024 we'll have about 10+ hour long compilation of this guy reviewing every episode of WordGirl!

Y'know what's really weird? The theme of people turning on Wordgirl is used in this season way more times than the others; think about it: Tiny Big, I Think I'm A Clone Now, Bonkers for Bingo, The Wrong Side of the Law, and Wordgirl Makes a Mistake, that's more episodes than in the other seasons where that's happened.

I haven’t even watched this yet (gonna binge the whole series later) but I just want to say, thank you SO MUCH!!! Wordgirl is almost NEVER talked about by anyone, less so in this much detail!!! I’m really glad it’s getting the recognition it deserves!!!

As far as WordGirl finally "learning her lesson" about not treating Captain Huggyface like crap, I'm afraid there's an appalling moment in a future episode titled "Don't Mess with the Best" that will sadly undermine this. Seriously, that little monkey deserves better.

49:11tbh, the clip where he reveals the Cosmo and Wanda themed color ribbons made me think the next clip was gonna be from FOP

I always thought that Word girl lived by the model of with great power comes great responsibility. And the episodes do a good of showing her Battle temptation.

Thank you so much for making this!! It just recently hit me how good this show actually was, but there's so many episodes I don't want to sift through all of them as an adult... Your videos have served as a great nostalgia trip and recap, and helped me to think about what episodes I'm interested in revisiting! It's also really cool how you actually credit the sources for any extra media you use, from music to memes... I wish more of the big channels did that!
  • @DimeUhDozen
I swear, you really deserve more subscribers. I always look forward to these.

-I'm with you on the art style not being super great. I'll give the animation credit for improving as the show goes along. I'm surprised you brought up the comics (I re-read them again last week) and how great the art in them were compared to the show. -i didn't think about the number of times the city turned against WordGirl (5 times?!!) this season. Thankfully, they only did it one or two more times after this season as it would've gotten old. -Speaking of the city, Two Brains calling them "fickle public" sums them up well. -Another part of the reason I wanted to check the show out was because of some out of context videos on it and most of the clips were from this season (surprised you didn't talk about the Pun/Sarcasm joke) -Lastly, I gotta give more props to the voice acting on this show. They really show how important the delivery is when it comes to delivering the joke.

Just using the Verruca Salt from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film (in my personal opinion, the more faithful and better adaption) made me smile! Also makes me feel nostalgic for the good old days when I had come home for school and plop down to watch some PBS Kids

i really loved I Think I'm a Clone Now as a kid lol mainly because i thought the word malicious sounded so cool (and of course malicious wordgirl was pretty fun too)
  • This and the other reviews have been so fun to watch! Can't wait to see the next one!

I wanna thank you for giving us a long, honest review. I love this show to death and I’m glad that it’s getting some actual reviews it deserves. Also, I’m very happy with the amount of Huggy episodes they dropped throughout season 2, Huggy can just have his own episode without Wordgirl/Becky and still be entertaining.

These videos are very good!! It makes me so happy to watch them so thank you.
  • Say what you will concerning the show's art style, but I kind of like it. Character motions get more fluid as the series goes on, and I'd argue not using the comic book art style is better in the long run because I feel it would be too jarring when translated to animation and distract from the zaniness of the show itself. I know "The Stew, The Proud" is a messy episode, but it's also one of my favorites from this batch because of how wildly entertaining the library scenes are and just the wackiness of the episode in general. As for S2 Part 2, I'm excited for Ms Question (in my top three favorite WordGirl villains) properly unpacked, and for my favorite episode of the show (you may quote me), "A Hero, a Thief, a Store, and its Owner" to be given it's due attention. Overall, I'm just glad this series exists because I love WordGirl and media analysis and so often with the fandom we get out of context compilations and such. (I love those too, but variety is key) Take your time on the next installment. We'll be waiting patiently when it comes. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go rewatch the series for the 7th time to satisfy my nostalgia.
