Few people know this, but Alex lost his older brother to crime... that's sad, bro
  • Volkanovski, Pereira and Francis are some of the best male role models ive ever seen. All from diffrent backgrounds and cultures but all fine examples of masculinity.

Just when I thought I couldn't respect him anymore, I see this guy giving back and motivating people.
  • Alex joined the UFC because Izzy made a comment mocking Alex. Izzy said Alex will sit in a bar somewhere and boast about beating Adesanya in obscurity. Even in the second fight, Izzy was playing possum to defeat Alex. If Alex did not rush, Izzy would have never won that fight. Now Alex is two division champion.
  • And to think Adesanya, the guy who grew up in the rich part of Lagos in Nigeria said that the people from the favelas can relate to him... Just so sad
  • Tribal Warriors. I love that.. To all my Native American brothers and sisters from North and South America I love you ❤
  • ALEX PEREIRA IS CLEAN FROM THE ALCHOOLL SINCE 2015 IF I REMEMBER BUT .... IN ADESANYA INTERVIEW ...ISRAEL TALKING ABOUT POATAN BEING AT A PUB /BAR WAS SOO PERSONAL THAT HE TOOK PERSONALLY AND ENBRACE HIS MISSION..... ADESANYA IS NOT INGENUOUS HE KNOW THE STRUGGLE OF HIS RIVEL WITH ALCHOHOL
  • I have much respect for Alex knowing where he came from and what he had to overcome 💯 now he’s a 2 division champ of the UFC
  • Love Perieras journey to his success. Such a humble guy and he knows how to Poatan a show.

Im from the same town that Alex lives and trains in. Its crazy to see him, glover and the team running drills at the highschool football field next to my house.

I just don't know why people never tell the full story behind alex and Adesanya rivalry, here it goes: When they first fight alex had 13 pro fights and Adesanya almost 70, poatan won by decision and Adesanya didn't agree with that, got really mad at the judge and, for some reason, at alex to 🤷🏻‍♂️. For their second fight adesanya talked mad trash about poatan, his family and even said that he was going to beat him up in his backyard like a dog or something, poatan was comming from a surgery in his left elbow a month before and took the fight 10 days short notice, he was one of the otganizers of that edition that took place in Sao Paulo Brazi but adesanya's opponent got hurt and alex decided to take his place. Adesanya was winning then he got koed, after the fight alex saw him sitting on the sidewalk outside of the stadium crying alongside with his coaches, alex pass through him and Adesanya looked away, got up and left. After that adesanya moved to mma and talked trash about poatan every single time people asked him about that KO, and the rest, is history.

You missed Few Key Points, he was drinking till that first zzy fight, and he was also working at tireshop even after joining glory, he had big brother who was batter then him in fighting but he choose crime/drug over hardwork and died at the age of 18-19...
  • I can see Alex moving into politics after his MMA career. Got the looks, confidence, attitude, connection with people, high profile etc. Not just a fighting champion. Just an amazing guy. Period.
  • @m77ast
The man is already a legend.
  • I love MMA, boxing and kickbobing and Alex is no doubt my favorite fighter in the world.
  • The story mixed with the highlights and the podcast are wild. Thank you for this video!
