this daily routine looks like a victorian novel.
  • @ff033e
never in my life would i come up with such an answer about my daily routine, it's so sophisticated that is almost hilarious
  • @Holborn1000
After that daily routine I need 2-week holiday …. 😅
  • @mederic394
I advise students not to limit themselves to watching the video once, but several times if necessary, it's the unshakable power of repetition!😊
  • @michaeleckhardt409
Just finished your brilliant C1 advanced English course. I love the way you’re teaching and highly recommend your 30 days challenges as well.
  • @alineana
I love your videos. I am Brazilian and I'm currently teaching English, so I'm always trying to learn more to pass the knowledge to my students. Thank you for your incredible work.
  • @chriswalkin953
I'm a native English speaker and I don't know why but I love watching your videos! 😆Even though I did well in English class, I still find myself learning bits and pieces from you about the language and British culture as well.

If anyone hesitates to join in Lucy's courses, do not hesitate and take the plunge! I've finished this C1 advanced programme and I can tell you it was such an amazing adventure. It took my English to the next level, and also it was a great fun! Worth every penny.

this is the main reason i am so fond of english - its ability to produce such high-level yet clear structures, it has always been fascinating to me!! much appreciation and gratitude for this video!!!

love this. Such a brilliant way to teach the C1 level. Progressing from B2 to C1 is really challenging. Sometimes I feel stuck and overwhelmed because it's not as easy to see improvement as it was when I went from A2 to B1 or from B1 to B2.

I stumbled across this randomly…I am from the USA and this is certainly not an abnormal way for educated people to express themselves i.e. when as what their daily routine is. It seems flowery and over-the-top, but it isn’t. It course, you certainly don’t have to speak like this to get you’re message across, but it is good to know the vocabulary to invade someone you’re speaking to happens upon using it. Good luck to all language learners. I learnt German and Spanish years ago, so I know the struggle of learning a new language. What advanced me the most was interacting with other German speakers online via chat or, once technology caught up, via webcam and microphone (if you can go to a country that speaks the language you’re learning, that’s the best, but it wasn’t possible for me to do on a regular basis). I also recommend watching and reading ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the language you’re learning; you’ll progress like mad if you do these two things - and, of course, dedication and time spent at the beginning making sure you understand the phonology and grammar of the language!
  • Lucy, you're a great teacher, your passion encourages us to learn and challenge ourselves with each lesson. Thank you ❤
  • I've been following your channel for a while, and recently I've decided to join your first course, C1. It's incredibly helpful in improving my understanding of native speakers. I've been living and working in the UK for more than two years, and sometimes I find it challenging to comprehend natives when they use slang or have fast-paced conversations with my colleagues. I've learned a lot from this course, and I appreciate it, Lucy. I'm considering joining your other courses as well.

I utterly adore your endless will of facing us a challenge that even though seems enormously impossible it turns out to be easy and fun! Loved you since the very first video....I wish one day I could have lesson with you
  • @panka33
I absolute ❤ your c1 videos. It was so easy to reach b2 level and then my English stopped progressing. Watching videos, reading books don't seem to be helping much, even though i'm fluent and i have quite advaced vocabulary. C1 and c2 lessons that I really need. Thanks so much.
  • @lidiapekala8618
