Heads up. Walmart has watered down their cans quite a bit since uploading this video. I can no longer recommend their store brand for the shading and highlighting. As of now, home depots is still great

At 70 there's still hope for me. Wonderful tutorial, makes me happy. Many blessings to you, your family and those reading this.
  • You make this look so easy, but I can tell you have a good understanding of color, shading, etc. Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Easily the best Planet tutorial I have seen! I love all your techniques and the way you explain things, and they looked great! I actually think I can try this!

SPA never gets boring. Every painting is an original.

I'm from Germany: also wirklich vielen Dank für das beste Toutorial über dieses Thema auf ganz Youtube. Servus!

Looks way better and more original than the same planet paintings that every single person does at festivals and street markets. I would actually buy these.

Even though, I am having some very handicapped hands when I had begun to make landscapes with spray paint, I would give an another try to use my spay cans in others to have more space for my others art supplies in shelves, if I am still able of doing it since 4 years ago! But I was so enjoying myself of doing it, than I can’t wait no longer time with my 67 yrs old! TKY so much of explaining so well how to do some vey nice looking spray artwork planets! This is one my best favorite videos that I haven’t never seen up to now! From Quebec in Canada 🇨🇦! 😊❤
  • Wow! love the crackle effect. I have ideas already thanks for sharing this one. Also love the technique for highlighting the planets atmosphere haze. Well done. You learn something new every day Cheers.
  • Dollar tree has a 2 pack of stove burner covers that I use for planets. 2 sizes, cheap and easy
  • One of the best quick spray paint demo's I've ever seen. You didn't over glorify the process... lol.
  • I love how you clearly describe the methods. All other artist have the tendency to leave the viewer in question on how to or the details on creating these types of artworks. Thank You, You're Awesome!
  • @OktoPutsch
Loved the 2nd and the last, the realistic aspect participates more to the visual suggestion of a planet.

This looks absolutely stunning! I always see people online making this sort of thing without giving any tutorial. Thank you for that! I have always wanted to try this, but just never got started.

Just found this today because I was doing a project for an rv. I had a ceiling cut to fit around an AC to act as a sun to all the planets I made for the ceiling and because of you and some other YouTubers I made a piece with my spouse and it turned out better than I had expected it to. Should be able to put it up there tomorrow morning. I also did a northern lights type style with stars on some shade covers for my windows as well. Hopefully I can paint the outside of the rv in another fun style, you have opened the gates for me to a fun way to decorate.

Amazingly talented! Thank you for making and sharing this.

You can also get crackle effect on regular paint with a heat gun or blow dryer, but it can be a bit tricky. Awesome tutorial! I got my start from watching Casey VanArsdale's planet videos, and it's cool to see some other people's tutorials as well to get more perspective!
