  • I met Gerard Butler in Union Square in NYC, hands down one of the nicest person, let alone celebrity I've ever met. It all started when my backpack got stolen at Union Square. As I went around the park looking for it with my dog, he approached me and said, "nice pooch! mind if I say hello?" I told him in somewhat of an annoyed/upset tone and told him he could for a second because I need to go look for my backpack that just got stolen in the park. That's when he said, "you're bag got stole?" in his Scottish accent, and said, "well let's go look for it." This was around 9:30pm so it was dark, and didn't realize it was him until about 5 minutes into our search. I only realized it was him when we got to a well lit part of the park. He honestly walked around the park with me for a good 20 min. helping look for my bag, and playing with my pup at the same time. Hands down one of the most amazing down-to-earth guy I've ever met, let alone being a celebrity.

So great to see our Military members proud and recognized for their hard work. It feels good to them smiling and having a good time with a Hollywood Star.. US Air Force Rocks!!
  • Proper humble guy Its awsome how highly he spoke of all the crew. The fact he withstood 9G is insane!!!. Great video 👍

That guy is so cool and humble (not like your average A list celeb).

Everybody saying they had a great time at the end made me smile. Lol, he looked so uneasy during the training

Man I love that little send off dance they do.. I guess they all have a different ritual before they begin.
  • Just imagine yourself in a combat situation handling all those g forces, all the while keeping a sharp eye on your foe. Conditioning, training and experience make for a good fighter pilot. Must take a lot of work, preparation and nerve.

"Bordering on spiritual" - that's flying! Nice one Gerard!

I flew in an F-15 before, the "G"s are bone-crushing...seriously, you need to have some serious mental fortitude to even be a passenger in a jet aircraft designed for aggressive flight.

What a cool, humble guy Mr. Butler is. And what a bunch of professional, kind people he encountered in the United States Air Force. Peace.
