Nice car Cameron, it's surprising to see a young man like you appreciate that Buick. I have a 2002 with over 180K miles that I love. They are very reliable and well made vehicles. The 3800 engine is arguably one of the best engines that GM has ever made. With proper maintenance they will easily reach over 300,000 miles. Enjoy the ride

233,000 and still going strong on my '05 LeSabre. Take care of it and it will last a long time.
  • Great engine. Trans is a little weak but as long as you change the fluid (not flush) you'll be ok...mine finally died at around 372,000 miles when I blew the bank 1 head gasket. And these miles were hard earned miles...great car!!

I have a 2005 buick lesabre limited. These 3800 engines are great. Such a comfortable, reliable car.

Coolant elbows will fail. Replace them with metal ones. Eventually lower intake gasket will fail, replace it with metal one. Drain the terrible red coolant out and replace with universal green. If you dont it will clog up the engine and overheat. The EGR valve could melt some of the upper manifold plastic and leak coolant. Rare but check it occasionally. Thats it, those are the only weaknesses. This engine will last forever if you get those done. Smart choice, just tint the windows and leave the car alone.

My son just bought the 2003 year. The engine on these things are highly regarded by mechanics. Also super easy to work on.

I had a 2005 Buick Lesabre Custom with the 3.8L. It was the best car. I ever owned. I wish I would never have sold it when it hit 200,000 miles. It got 27-28 mpg. The only money I ever stuck into it was at 175,000 miles the blower motor in the cab went out ($110) and the cord for the engine block heater went bad ($30).

I've got an 05 as well with 175k miles. Comfortable ride and no problem finding parts for it. Unlike some cars where it can take weeks to get parts.

That buick looks good. I have a 2006 lacrosse I just bought love it

That's a Beautiful car , Amazing 3.8l v6 and has the comfort of a luxury car , it's not a Muscle car but it'll get up and go when it needs to, gas mileage is amazing for a Big V6. My Grandfather had one and I seriously wanted to buy it from him because it was just an overall great car and never had an issue with it besides the Alternator but that's small stuff. Awesome video, I love seeing these cars get the credit they deserve.
  • That is a very clean LeSabre and it is evident that Grandpa took very good care of it. We have a nice 2004 LeSabre Custom, and a 1998 Custom- that needs some work. I enjoy wrenching on these gems, and I would never sell a car that my Grandfather Left me!

i have a 00' and need some loving care, but its hard . I put family first, some day like it to look as good as yours, great vid.

I just bought a 2003 Celebration Edition in Crimson Pearl with 70,000 miles. I had a 1995 LeSabre that I sold with nearly 300,000 miles. Always said I wanted another one before they are all gone.
  • @shaasesoria
What's the different between custom and limited edition? Thanks.
  • Nice LeSabre. These are great cars.

I just purchased one of these last week! Single owner, clean as a whistle, runs beautifully. I am interested in where you got your new headlights. I'd like to replace mine as well. :)
