When Dr. Webb drops a day in the life it’s a holiday
  • My mom is a Plastic Surgeon and the amount of times she's told me she has to fight insurance companies for her patients to be able to receive a life changing breast reduction is insane! Some of these women have such poor quality of life but insurance doesn't care it's so frustrating! I'm also a first year PT student and i'm starting to see these problems first hand so I totally get it!
  • The Goat is not only busy but is also humble inspiring the next generation of physicians in his Alma Mater Keep it Up Dr Webb

I do insurance authorizations daily, so I definitely see the struggles to try to get certain procedures covered. I thank you for advocating for your patients. Doing so lets your patients see just how much you truly want to help them live normal lives. Thank you for being who you are. Everyone deserves a physician just like you.
  • Physical Therapist here. Thanks for not rushing to provide surgical intervention to every patient when PT can definitely help pain levels/ we can prolong them from having surgery!! Also really feel that the insurance model needs to be changed cause it’s impacting what interventions I can provide to a certain patient as well and dictates how much we get paid……

High quality video. Props for exposing the realities of being a physician. Many people believe doctors are over compensated by taking advantage of their patients. It turns out to be a little more complicated than that.

Unfortunately, insurance dictates many things which are not in the patient's best interest, nor for the best patient outcomes. I saw another video how a surgeon was describing how other implantable devices would work better, but the hospital and insurance companies did not care as it was costlier. And instead using inferior devices during surgery. Healthcare needs to shift back towards a more patient focused approach. I feel more people in healthcare need to speak out about this. Only way to make a change. Thanks for speaking up and sharing.

Dr. Webb is a machine.. To be able to do all that in one day is commendable.

I haphazardly stumbled upon this video. While not something I would normally watch, I found myself engrossed in this and viewed the entire thing. Very well done I enjoyed it, you sound like an amazing surgeon. Brilliant.

I give you so much praise for not wanting to perform surgery if you think other treatments can be effective. I had a L5S1 microdiscectomy a year ago. I couldn’t walk and my left leg was useless. I have reherniated the same disc and was having discomfort but not nearly as bad. My surgeon automatically wanted to do a fusion, no questions asked. I went to a physical therapist near me who reviewed my MRI and thought he could help me. 4 weeks later at 3 sessions a week, and continuing the exercises on my “off” days, I feel 100% again. Thank you for everything you do and having ethics behind your decisions, not all doctors do that. They only want to do what puts $$ in their pocket

I had a C5-6 disc implant completed in Oct 2022 for a disc herniation. I appreciated that my surgeon tried conservative measures for close to a year. I am so grateful for the expertise of my spine surgeon who understood how important it was for me in terms of hoping to get an implant and not a fusion. It really made me get such an interest in this medical area of expertise for those surgeons who feel this as their calling. I am so thankful for my spine surgeon with the Medstar organization in Wash DC. Thank you for all you do for your patients.

These videos are produced with such high quality. Amazing work by Dr Webb. I subscribed years ago, after Dr Michael Cellini said he was inspired by Dr Webb. These videos provide so much insight into the life of doctor, and in particular spine surgeon. I work as personal injury lawyer and work with many spine surgeons and it is great to see all this. I also love how Dr Webb uses a person to film everything, and the content is again such high quality. How Dr Webb finds the time to do all this is amazing, especially as a husband, father, doctor and content creator. Well done Dr Webb, I hope you continue to derive satisfaction for all you do for you, your family, your patients, and your viewers.

The time management skills are so aspiring. The amount of work he needs to do woah
  • @buckeyeblooded
I have massive respect for spine surgeons. I've had 2 microdiscetomies in the last 7 years. And it's a life changer. I went from bed ridden and lost 40lbs, to grocery shopping within a week of surgery.
