Most of my reels are loaded with braid. My small panfish rods are flouro or mono. I use a flouro leader with any slow moving baits, wacky rig, finesse, and such. Crankbaits, bladed jigs and such I tie directly to the braid...usually with a uni. Jerk baits I use a loop knot (Rapala Knot). I really haven't noticed any difference between tying them directly to the braid or using the flouro leader, water condition decides that mostly. My leader to braid, double uni, never had one fail...so I go with what works. So many different techniques out there, 10 guys would have 10 different methods. Cool video. Good luck!
