I never would have thought to use snapping in addition to shrinkwrap. Thanks for this video! I imagine the shrinkwrap modifier could be improved, so it would work better without having to do that.

It would be great to create a separate script for such an operations, like in game engines, surface sprites aka brushes I loved the ease of applying texture brushes and textures in Hammer (game editor) for the Source engine (HL1)

Thiswas so helpful! I used Shrinkwrap all the time in my work, but I didn't know about the snapping trick, I've just been tuning the positioning and offsets by hand until things work properly. Could you perhaps do a tutorial on lattices? They seem super useful for a lot of cases that keep coming up for me (often attaching greeble or accoutrement to curved aspects of hard surface models) but how exactly they function continues to somewhat elude me. And yes I do unironically talk like this all the time.
