TRIDE! On top of the Snap option, if you want spikes on slopes, you can place one on the first end of the spike line, and second at the other, duplicate some spikes, as many as you want in that strip, then select all spikes, ESC, and click Align X and Align Y. It's super convenient cuz sometimes you want a certain number of spikes and counting by hand is hard.
