I can remember John when Barum engineers where in the Arcade ,Bear street . I use to take cranks . Heads . Etc , that was back in the seventies , when I worked for Bernard Hancock , years gone by ,

You generally mount A series blocks to the engine stand using a custom made plate that's bolted between the oil filter housing studs and alternator bracket studs. Needs different drillings for A series and A+ blocks due to different alternator stud locations.
