what helped me get my current job in banking is reaching out to the recruiter that is on the linkedin listing directly and send them a message introducing myself, telling them i applied for the role, and that I would be interested in learning more about it. They replied within HOURS and we had a call the next day. Four interviews later I had the job!

Refreshing that you don’t solely want to be a content creator and want to continue to use your professional talents. It’s strategically the smart thing to do. Continued success!

The last portion made me so teary. We are also three girls in the family (I am in the middle hehe) but we all live in different parts of the world now. Miss my sisters so much 🫶 and happy birthday to your dad and your sister! May they always be healthy and happy!

Hi Julia. Im on the same boat as you. I left my tech job without another job lined up because it was too much for me. Something you said about doing so much work and not going anywhere really hit me. Glad you had sisters who you can be with while job hunting. I myself do not have any supportive relatives to help me get through this but watching your videos make me feel that I have someone. I stumbled upon your channel, perhaps a week or two ago, through your video about quitting your job as a data scientist. I almost never comment on videos (I am a certified lurker), but your introspective thoughts about your career, health, and other aspects of your life really resonated with me. I really appreciated how genuine and honest you were about what you were going through - I imagine that being vulnerable, especially on a public platform like YouTube, can't be easy. I really appreciate this video!! I have been a software developer for the past 6ish years and have been wanting to transition to a more data driven role. I first found your channel talking about being a data scientist. I was trying to understand the niche differences between all the different data science related roles. I am pursuing my Master's in data science currently and I was straying away from being a data scientist because of the ML aspect. I am soooo thankful that you disclosed your job title because now I will search for those sort of roles because that is really where my interest lies.
