How is there 2 chiral centers in cyclohexane-1,2-diol? I see it has there being 5 carbons and the same group on either hydroxy. Is it because of a trans configuration?

Since there is no rotation around the double bond. How can we have an inversion center on a double ?

Hi, Samantha! Recently I have discovered your YouTube channel by accident and I'm glad that I did it! :D The organic molecule you showed in 10:22 is Nirmatrelvir, antiviral medication for Covid treatment; its brand name is Paxlovid. Honestly, I didn't even know that it exists, but now I researched and learned an additional new fact. Thank you! :)
