    I love Robert Duvall but especially in this role. It's going to be a sad day when we don't have actors like Costner and Duvall anymore.

    I like that Boss wanted to indulge his sweet tooth before facing deadly danger and his ""Sitting right here in front of you and you ever even tried it" line. There are life lessons there.

    The first movie I saw Kevin Costner in was Silverado, in 1985. A Western. It's a really good one, too! With Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover, John Cleese, Rosanna Arquette, Brian Dennehy and Linda Hunt.

    To see a beautiful woman say "And This Little Piggy Went To Hell" was more exciting than I thought it would be.

    I kid you not, I absolutely love the scene where they buy candy and cigars. So calming and comforting. But that's the idea, cause then the storm comes. Saw this in theaters just short of turning 13. Always found it a bit underappreciated, but as far as Westerns, especially modern ones, I get why it stands where it is.

    The owner of the stables was played by Michael Jeter, from my hometown. RIP. I have watched this so many times lol. I wish they hadn't had a 6 shot pistol shoot 13 times but I can overlook it. Watch "Appaloosa", another good western.

    Aww, it's always so sad to see Michael Jeter. Gone way too soon. He's one of my favorites, from some amazing movies like The Green Mile, Jakob the Liar, Patch Adams, and The Fisher King.

    A very young Kevin Costner stars with Kevin Kline, Glenn Scott and Danny Glover in Silverado. Then there are a lot of sports movies with Kevin Costner, like For Love Of The Game and Field Of Dreams. Kevin Costner also plays a realistic Wyatt Earp.
