This video highlights the accomplishments of the magnificent Maine South High School High Kick Dance Team, the Hawkette Dance Club. They are the best kick team in Illinois and the Midwest, and in the past five years have placed in the top five in UDA national competition in Orlando. The Stardust fell on them in 2011 when they won the w National Championship! Congratulations to the Hawkettes, their coaches, and parents. They are the Pride of their high school, Park Ridge, and Illinois! Music use is private, non-commercial, non profit, use only. If you enjoy the music please purchase it on iTunes or Amazon as I did. Look for a video on the Maine South Hawks Varsity football team, coming soon! This fall go to Maine South high school football HOME games, to see their performances at the sophomore and varsity games, held on the same Friday. Then see them at home basketball varsity games in the winter. Check the athletic dept. schedule for dates. The Hawkettes are unbelievable when seen in person!

    I have a question for anyone with the Hawkettes: the web page gives conflicting information: one list says they won in the 1990s, the other says they didn't win the 90s, but the 2000s. Are they both correct? I can't find a source to clarify this....thanks.
