Hey everyone! In today's video, I'm diving into the brand-new SSL 360 software and how it's revolutionizing plugin control with the UC1 control surface. If you've been following my channel, you know I love hands-on control in the studio, and this software is a perfect example of that. Let's get into it!

🔹 Main Points Covered:

1️⃣ SSL 360 Software Overview:
Discover the capabilities of the SSL 360 software, allowing control of almost any plugin with the SSL UC1 control surface.

2️⃣ Custom Mapping Made Easy:
Learn how easy it is to map controls from any plugin to the UC1. Whether it's compressors, EQs, or any other effects, the process is straightforward and intuitive.

3️⃣ Hands-On Mixing with UC1:
Mixing with your hands is just a totally different experience vs a mouse. See how the UC1 enhances your workflow by providing tactile control over your plugins, making the mixing process more intuitive and efficient.

You just gave me a great idea on how to use the IK Multimedia MixBox.!!! It's basically like the Slate plugin. I hope it supports the MixBox... lol

Very nice. I just bought the UC1 and the UF1 which i will be using with Logic Pro X and your video was quite helpful in explaining how to use the UC1. Thanks.
  • Correct me if I'm wrong: you have to load the plugin INSIDE the 360 plugin? What if I need to automate the plugin? The DAW will read the automation from 360 or from plugin? Can I automate plugins through this way?

TBH Im not really sure about the 3rd party thing...yes it works, but its a bit quirky for me

The SSL 360 app seems redundant here BUT if you combine it with a touch screen monitor it's as close as you'll get to mixing on a physical console.
