PLEASE BRING MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO THE POD… these are the real influencers of the Latino community
  • Why am I crying 🥺 this is literally the influencers that have to have a platform for the new generation 🙌🏻 so proud of them 🩵
  • @BabyTarzansx2
Josh please give them a year subscription of taste salud. The hydration, the focus they definitely would benefit from it. Keep them healthy in medical school 💙

When he said he wanted to be an ER doctor just because most of our parents are undocumented & it’s true that’s their first time ever going to the doctor. I’m so amazed by him. Orgullo Mexicano! 🇲🇽

The DACA Community has to be one of the strongest, most resilient, and hardworking people I know. I absolutely LOVE us 🥹🫶🏼 #ObamasKids
  • @yaraah_m
Irving's story got me teary-eyed 🥺 as a fellow DACA recipient, I felt his story deeply 🙏🏼
  • I'm a nurse and a proud mexican 🇲🇽 I felt amazing being able to translate and advocate for mi gente at hospitals. In scary situations. I know they would've appreciated a doctor like these men especially. Seeing a familiar face in your corner in times that are scary and knowing they'll speak the same language is the difference between getting the care someone needs vs them getting brushed off. I'm so so proud of you guys! ¡Si se puede!

As a first generation college student, this episode hit different Thank you La Platica for giving them a voice and giving them a chance to tell their story
  • @eray668
This is so relatable for first gens, not having anybody to guide you in the process of higher education. It feel like your going in blind at all times (10 steps behind everybody else)
  • @Michi0118Michi
As a high school teacher, I can't wait to share this link with students I know who need influence like this. !!!!
  • @Yrodriguez5
Being a DACA recipient my eyes teared up when Irvin said he didn’t want to continue studying. I was in the same boat, now fast forward to a couple of years I will be receiving my masters in counseling psychology by December 2024!!! Thanks to Obama for giving us a chance. We are part of the future!! ❤❤ BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!
  • Finally!!! People that are worthy of actually being praised and interviewed. I’m a law student and only 3% of lawyers are latinas!! TY for putting higher education on the map. 🎉
  • As a latina pursuing a Ph.D thank y’all so much for this amazing episode!! A lot of times we had to figure things out on our own which makes us even smarter and hard-working. This was an amazing episode and I hope it inspired all of the Latinos who want to become doctors, lawyers, and scholars ❤
  • @Kristinabonitaa
Hell yeah! these are the type of influencers to look up to. Que viva la raza!! 🇲🇽😊
  • The real influencers have stepped in to the Pod. It’s nice to see Latino men pursuing higher education and making their family’s sacrifice worth it. It’s comforting to see more Latinos achieving their educational goals. As college graduate and student, I respect the discipline. We need more raza in the medical field.
  • As a DACA recipient this podcast was very special. I had a special connection with Irving because many times I was told by counselors that I did not qualify for financial aid because I did not have a SSN. God had other plans for me and I was able to graduate from college will a full ride and graduated with my BSN. Now, I am traveling for work and I will be moving to CA from the East Coast all by myself as a young independent woman. To all my DACA recipients SI SE PUEDE!!! 🇲🇽
  • @balbinamusic.
To me they are the first REAL influencers worth to watch 💯
  • Respiratory Therapist here!! Soooo PROUD of the latino community going places, love to see it 💞
  • This was such a great episode. Sebas, I know it's all fun and you guys probably get along just fine despite any comments that are made, but it would be nice to see you be a little more mindful about the things you say to Josh. He doesn't quite speak to you the way you do to him, and it'd be nice to see you match his energy a little more.
