A neighbor had two German shepherds, and they were so well trained to the command βgo homeβ. One time we were playing on our street, and we saw both of them running like wolfs chasing something. Later on we saw the neighbor, and he said, I told them to go home. The cool part is he had told them from half mile away.

GSD's are are smart enough to make her person feel dumb! My dad had a our shepherd at a training class. He got distracted thinking about work, and when the command for 'sit' was given, the dog sat. When my dad got to the end of 'his' leash, he looked back realizing what he'd done and he later said that the dog was giving him a look as if to say "what is wrong with you!"π

How can you not love a dog or even a cat? These big beautiful German Shepherds really make me miss my big boy Valentine. I lost him a year ago. He was a big goof ball like these babies and gave lots of love. Thanks so much for this video. It helps the day go by better. PJ

I've had 3 of them, the most amazing is that in a microsecond they switch from thinking they are the boss to act like if they are the sweetest puppy, they were all the same so I think is a genetic trait, but smart, protective and playful they all were. Pity they only live to be around 12.
