So I was brought up in an atheist to the core household and therefore I've never read the Bible and this is the first time for me being in contact with this material. I do love meditation however and I'm no longer atheist. Because Jesus appeared to me and helped me with his guidence so... Well this is 👍🙏✨✨✨ Jesus is great and I truly thank him for being there for all of us🙏✨✨✨

Calling of nathanael was the most powerful scene for me ✨✨✨ "Don't look at him, look at ME" . Such a powerful line of Jesus ✨🥲

I could never memorize the names of the 12 disciples no matter how hard I tried. Because of this show, I can easily remember all 12 now! I love The Chosen! 🙏✝️❤

"I have everything I NEED, but I WANTED you." Our Lord says to each one of us... Love this review of the callings!

Of all the responses to His call, I find Matthew's the most moving. The combination of music and his expression and urgency with which he moves to join Jesus is so beautiful. I can only hope I can accept and hurry to Jesus' embrace with that much purity and surrender. Amen.

I liked the calling of Nathaniel, the way Jesus said "I saw you" Where Nathaniel cried and asked "do you see me"the chills.. Matthew's calling was the best too

I just love how he’s confident in the men he chose, and doesn’t doubt how different it would make him. He loves them all. I wish I could be that confident

I was named for the Apostle John so he will always be my favorite. But Matthew's portrayal really glues this whole series together.

Like so many of the scenes, these brought tears to my eyes. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to me after a near death accident. He was only with me for a short period of time, long enough for Him to give me words that would help me navigate the challenges that would face me due to all the surgeries and traumatic brain injury. He gave me a thirst of what our eternal life has that this life can never quench. He has also been right beside me to help me on my most challenging days. Thank you dear Lord Jesus Christ and God Bless and shine your glorious light on all you children.

I love how Matthew doesn’t think twice and just follows without even knowing what he was doing ❤love it!!

Watching this makes me fall in love with Jesus all over again. He's the God who bends down to meet us where we are. He doesn't need us, but he wants us. If He calls you, follow Him.

This series has done many things to me, it changed my perspective of how I saw the disciples, I mean, THEY ACT LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE,they have humor, they have fights, they have their highs and lows, they are so real!! We can relate with them so much. And Jesus, is totally different of how perhaps almost everyone thought he was. This series has made me read the Bible more, to know how the scenes really happened. I’ve watched it nine times now,no kidding!! Lol It’s a huge masterpiece ❤️
