So you're getting better service from a dead carrier than an active carrier? Is Sprint the true UnCarrier?
  • @joshuarshah
So when T-Mobile shuts down the Sprint LTE network you're basically screwed. Good job T-Mobile🤦‍♂️
  • @jarodweaver2989
That basically describes my area. Poor T-Mobile performance (for me it doesn’t matter whether it’s T-Mobile LTE or 5G) while Sprint shows up to the speed party.
  • @irlanda2699
Man your area is crazy in my area in Brooklyn i get close to 200 download 89 upload. 👍😎😭😭😭
  • @mrrice117
I have the same problem too, every time i have weak service or severe congestion. I force roam onto sprint and by magic or something i suddenly have excellent signal strength and enough data speeds to continue using my phone like normal. The problem is as time goes on those sprint towers i count on are being turned off so im starting to have gaps in coverage
  • @swirl4440
i have 700 mbps on 5G in my house and its the low band
  • @slalomkayaker1
Is it a sprint small cell? They still need to upgrade those…
  • Don't know about you, but as we ALL know, the carriers love their cell towers next to the Interstate (i-5 out here in Anderson, No. CA). And being in a little "hick town" in No. CA, the closest MAJOR city is Sacramento. North is Redlands. I'm 7 miles out from I-5 by the river, and the closest cell towers are all about 7 miles away. I've tried them all, and I get about -110 to -115 db in my trailer from all of them. I have a Samsung 5G A32 TMO. I get only 5-8 Mbps down whether it's ATT, TMO, or VZ, thanks to the almost zero signal. The Sammy A32 SAYS 5G, but doesn't matter. HOWEVER, if I take it to the Walmart next to i-5, thanks to, I believe, n41, I get 400+ Mbps down (wifi off of course). So I am FULLY AWARE speed depends on how close you are to the towers. Problem is, I've tried various boosters and NONE OF THEM support TMO 5G n41 mid band - I've read there currently are NO boosters/repeaters yet for 5G, and when they fist become available, you'll probably have to give your right arm and mortgage your home to buy one....There's a nice Android app called LTE Discovery, and the signal page tells you EXACTLY what your dBM is for EACH band, I think there's a version for Apple too, BTW.
  • @mibdaguy
Someone gotta tell him about at&t lte 5 mbps down, 0.1 up 😭
  • @electron7659
I'm currently using a Sony Experia A2, which is a 3G phone, and I've been sent a text message by Tmobile stating that I need to upgrade to a 5G phone by July 1st in order to avoid any interruptions in my data. Does this mean I will have issues after July 1st?? What is your opinion on this?? 🤔
  • @Fqd.
I get 200 download and 50 upload on cricket 5g LMFAO that’s tuff
  • @xolfwehttam3521
Sprint was pretty decent in SE WI. THEY ACTUALLY HAD B41 here. T-Mobile was garbage but they’ve added 4 new sites within 3 miles from my house So playing catch-up. Now they smoke Verizon in speeds
  • @profitgee1
Sux for you ! I get 250/50 4 miles from the tower with TMHI
  • At my work in Hayward, California, we get Verizon 5G all over the place very little that you see any LTE now days, but 5G is about 3 to 10 MBPS down and 1 to 2 Mbps up. I tried this over and over, but the super slow speeds kept at very stupid slow speeds. Nothing above 10 Mbps. It seems to me that LTE was too much faster than 5G, because I remember that LTE 4G was always around 30 to 67 Mbps down and 10 to 17 Mbps up at the same location. I believe that 5G is the worst of it all.
  • @KyleKoala28
How do you know it’s sprint lte and not T-Mobile lte
  • @byrd203
sneed have you done the Setting change to your cell Data Under Celluar there's a option for auto picking the Carrier go in there change it to Verizon then change it to Sprint then Change it to one of the t_mobile Options that will Give you full Speeds otherwise you will be stuck at the speeds in this test if you don't do this you don't have the Correct programing I have to do this on my Current iPad Pro and it gives me full speeds at 2 bars once you do this you should see speeds at 100 meg or higher try the Network carrier switch in the iPhone settings try doing that you should get great LTE and good 5G speeds this has to be done on every reboot this trick enables Band AG it it will give you full Speeds I have to this on my Old Sprint tower by me and New T-mobile Tower
