Fun tidbit for you: the original XIV trailers had the WoL as a bard- so, in this trailer, he goes through bard, then warrior (Realm Reborn), Dragoon (Heavensward), Monk and Samurai (Stormblood), before finally landing on Dark Knight! Seeing this trailer at my first ever FanFest will be an experience I will never forget- the energy in that room just skyrocketed!

It's been a while since watching the Shadowbringers trailer, and honestly? The chills are still there. You're in for a hell of a ride with this story arc. That's all I'll say. The only thing I can say is welcome to Shadowbringers, man. Enjoy your stay.

The biggest thing that made everybody go like what the hell was that for years you’ve been the warrior of light now all the sudden you’re becoming the warrior of darkness. Lotta questions from the trailer. Also, fun fact. This is the first trailer that was voiced. Everything else leading up to this was just music and stuff. Production really ramped up for this one.

That was peak FF14. Endwalker was really good, but nothing beats Shadowbringers yet!

you might know this by now since its been 10 months, but the gremlin at the beginning is voiced by the composer Soken, recording the lines in his closet at 3am to not wake up his family 🤣

FF lll was my first FF, so hearing Eternal Winds alone caused me to cry. The nostalgia, and seeing the Crystal Tower was just so much. As for the trailer itself, when Meteor cycles through his jobs, each one is defeated. Becuase he's trying to be the Warrior of Light. He must be something else, he CANNOT be the Warrior of Light: hence Dark Knight. The Warrior of Darkness :3 this trailer is SO GOOD! still my fave <3

Every time I see this trailer I get filled with so much hype and whenever I see somebody have a first time experience that is positively receptive to it it feels me with even more hype shadowbringers is so fucking good I just watch grinding gear finish 5.0 last night and it fills me with so much hype and love for this game I hope you enjoy your journey into shadowbringers and if I catch any update videos I'll try and check them out from you.

The city you see, and the NPCs you see there are from an old 1.0 test environment, that got re-used for the Battle of Silvertear falls cinematic from ages ago. They just yoinked it all and put it in shb!
