Nice recap! I think my journey back to Sony might be quite similar. I've been shooting Fuji for nearly 10 years now. What's crystal clear is that they are headed in a completely different direction with their flagship cameras - away from what made them fun to use. If they are going more mainstream, there are so many better options out there at the $2,500 price point. Am a little surprised you didn't enjoy the R6. I've heard great things about that camera and am considering that one as well. What was it that you struggled with? (besides the insane RF lens prices!!)

Congratulations on the new camera. The Sony skin tones just don’t do it for me. But, the eye auto and tracking are on another level.

Interesting times with cameras with M43, apsc all around the full frame price. I went completely different direction. Sigma SD Quattro for it's filmish look to the files with a proveon sensor

I did the same a few months back, I sold my entire Fuji kit(xt4, 23f2, & 2 viltrox lenses) for canon r6 w/ 50mm 1.8

If I could get a Sony A1 in the body of an R5 I’d be in heaven.
