This is quite an emotional flipbook. It has a lot of power, but its not even CLOSE to how much power the invisible man sends to me emotionally.

First off, awesome video concept. This isn’t a flip book, this is a piece of art, it communicates so much emotion and it’s amazing how you managed to do that. Keep up the awesome work :)

You are blessed my friend. I have had an anxiety disorder before we even met in Logan. I still deal with it and panic attacks are more common for me. Your description of how it feels is probably the most creatively accurate way to communicate the sensation "like reality itself is wrong or cracking" "it feels almost like instant death is right behind you." is how I have described it but I like your description more. Your visual interpretation of the experience is also spot on. I love that you ended it on a positive note. Hopeful. Encouraging. WONDERFUL.
  • No matter what, but Andy can always come up with the strangest flipbook ideas. From invisible man to slime flipbook and now this. 😊

I so deeply relate to having panic attacks. The randomness is why it's called a panic attack vs an anxiety attack. Anxiety attacks have triggers, where as the panic ones are random and for "no reason". The dedication you went through for this flipbook and the story you shared is all so amazing, thank you. I love your videos <3
  • This is actually really amazing. The way you captured that feeling so perfectly, in such an artful way is admirable. I expected this to be like the invisible man, but you actually did something with the black paper. Keep up the good work Andy! I always look forward to your videos. Still can’t believe I actually got to speak to you :D -Zoe

The music, art and story reminded me so much of the game Outer Wilds. It also has to do with the vastness and complexity of the universe being out of your control, which makes it just as scary as it is beautiful. The black almost looks like how a neon black should look, if that makes sense. It's almost bright in its blackness.
  • @MK_2023.
This is much more than art, it's perfect human emotion. That was incredibly beautiful.

The irony of a stop motion animator saying “it took a lot of time to (prepare the cards)
” made me chuckle. The attention span and focus needed for the work you do is unreal and I am so grateful that you share your work the way you do. Great story concept, with an amazingly simple explanation of this paint! (Also, I had no idea the blackest paint war had a new contender! Or, that Vantablack had a new version that beats Black 3.0. Or that Black 4 was now out and maybe beats Musou. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE! 😂)
  • I swear this is one of your best flipbooks!! The long wait was worth it.
  • @AceKaci
I’ve had similar experiences when looking at the vastness of space. It’s disorienting, like gravity no long exists, and you can’t tell up from down: terrifying and awe inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story. This flip book may be one of your best to date.
  • It's Invisble Man's Nemesis! The Shadow! If it was only black, that is.
  • @geo34south
Your flip-book concepts are so small and simple physically and yet unbelievably big and complex in the emotions they consistently conjure in one. As I get older, I seem to become increasingly emotional about the important things in life and well up over them in a way that, mostly, I manage to hide. Guess, in your flip-book, it’s the intensity of black, the music and your reliving your childhood emotion that makes its impact particularly profound! Thanks for a beautiful experience.

the story, the art, the music; everything just hit so deep ❀
