keep in mind: if you are still experiencing fps drops, that depends on the server you are on, if you are playing a vanilla sandbox server with no addons and pvpers and builders, you will experience less lag than a darkrp server with 18 thousand addons

wow I cant believe it... This worked so much better than expected. I have a decent pc but for some reason gmod seemed to run at very low framerate, this completely fixed it and made my game run stable 144 with the cap no drop whatsoever. Thank you

If you have any frame drops then this may work: changing “fps_max —-“ to “fps_max 999” for a reduced overall framerate (only a tiny bit) but without any framedrops hopefully.

thanks, i run a scprp server and im making a workshop addon to apply all these changes automatically to a players client so we dont have anymore complaints of lag!
